Can someone please advise me!
I have a P990. It's one of the first Vodafone ones, so it's got the Vodafone startup screen which cannot be changed, but it's got all the original Sony Ericsson menus, no Vodafone branding on the phone itself, etc.
It's saying that my phone software version is CXC162037 R9EC001. I would like to update the firmware, as I've heard that R9F is the latest. However, I'm worried.
If I connect to SEUS, is it going to detect that it was a Vodafone phone and install the BRANDED Vodafone menus, etc. Or is CXC162037 R9EC001 a generic firmware?
I just don't want to update it if it's going to put the rubbish Vodafone stuff back on!
