Despite
sponsoring Spider-Man 3, the only SE phone apparently seen in the film (I'm saying apparently as I've not seen it yet but have it on good authority!) is the excellent but rather old T610!
Now, why no K810i, K550i, P990 et al? I have a conspiracy theory!
They put the T610 in for the 'nostalgic effect', to make people think 'oooh, I used to have one of them, damn nice phone it was too!'. Then, not long after Spider-Man 3 comes out,
announce the T650i - a phone that is modelled/inspired by the old T610!
Am I being far too cynical or is this some very subtle and intelligent marketing by
?

Though it does seems strange that in a film that SE have supposely sponsored their only model on show is an older, long discontinued model...
When you look at Casino Royale, there are plenty of
models in it - K750i, M600, K700i, and of course the then-new K800i, which featured quite a lot in the film! Same with The Davinci Code - loads of new models, including the then recently released W550i and K750i.

I would have though
would have marketed the K810 and K550 to death in the film..since all the
spiderman 3 promotions and Ad Campaigns seem to feature the handsets...At least MJ and Peter Parker should have had or used the phones in the film.

But you gotta know, Peter Parker and MJ aren't exactly the type of people that have tons of money to spend, they're just graduated high school teens looking for jobs, and Spider-Man doesn't get money for saving NY.

anyway, imo, the t650 is just a baby born phone. maybe, on a next sony movie, it will show up.
