> How do i get my network to unlock my phone?

I've got a w800i and i want it unlocked. How much will it cost if i take it to my local orange shop and get them to unlock it for me? Thanks for any help.

with orange uk, you have to ring up cust. services and request an unlock code.
i'm not sure how much they will charge, but it will probably be between £20-£30

Just get it done down the local market stall for about £5 or buy a service cable and use SETool/SEMCTool (depending on CID)

no it costs £20. I wanted 2 unlock my p910 through orange they said the code could take upto 7 days 2 b emailed it took nearly 3 weeks but they did say sorry and didnt charge me.

) when I emailed them about my new job in Libya(I said I'd split my time between ireland and Libya...)! Usually they only unlock prepay phones once you spent euro 130.00!!!

if you had it for a while you can call them and tell them that you are leaving the country for a business trip...they did not charge my friend when he did that.
