Hey I have this weird problem with my k800. I'm not sure if this issue has been raised before but where the infra red port is on the lower right hand side of the phone used to flash red up until a week ago.
how do you turn this feature on/off?
its not flashing anymore and i was concerned the infrared wasn't working anymore but i was able to send a business contact via infrared so it seems ok.
What does this red flashing light do/how do i turn it on?

From what I understand, normally it's a service light telling you there's a problem, I know on the K750i it only came on when there was something wrong, bit like the oil light in a car. Dunno why it's been on all this time though :/

Lol thats what annoys me about almost all phones, when your battery is going flat is flashes at you, makes noises at you, vibrates and lights up the screen, great, you've just flattened my battery even more for me now!
Samsung have the right idea, they dim the screen to minimum, disable most of the tones and all non-essential functions such as games, video, MP3, camera, Bluetooth etc.
