my friend has had his dell latitude d520 stolen and is passworded to the dog's doodahs, can people get the passwords of??? has the bios admin password on it the hd password on it and a password to get in to vista. he got a lot of work and personal info on it,

been on the dell website and they say that you cant get around the main bios password, as even removing cmos don't work .

dude i know so much people with stolen lapps and to chage to code in the bios can be done by a five year old and ip are patch and it becomes compely legt then

ok ok, i get it only what dell said, he had all his accounts and credit card details suspended so nothing can be done, or do we just do nothing and then try and take dell to court hahah, thats what am getting at they reckon that you cant do nothing with it, but thanks for the info anyway he gonna be well chuffed knowing that it can be hacked poor bugger lol.
