i recently upgraded from my old w810i to a w850i . Whenever i try to take close up pictures in the dark with the flash i find that it just whites out the object i'm trying to get a picture of...i problem i never experienced with my trusty old k750i nor with my w810i...does anybody have any advice as to how i can reduce the intensity of the flash ?

is your white balence away up. it might help to reduce the white balence when shoting close-ups.

press try that.

(its a k750i i'm using, think they are both the same)
over at the left in a small grey box when you do this you should set it to +0.0 that seems to be best. experement to see what works best with you.

(press > to make it brighter again)
