> Receiving HSCSD data calls
Bookmark topic
Hi
I use my T68i to dial up from my notebook to my computer at work using HSCSD. My work computer has a normal 56K (fixed telephone) modem. The HSCSD works fine and I connect at 28.8 Kbps without problems.
However I use callback, so that the work computer hangs up and calls me back (and my employer can catch the bills...) When I do this, everything still works OK but when the T68i modem answers the call and completes the connection, I am down to normal CSD bandwidth of 9.6 Kbps.
I get this same behaviour when I use IR or bluetooth. I'm using the latest modem drivers from sonyericsson's global support page.
Anybody tried doing the same?
Is it possible to connect to received data calls at HSCSD speeds?
Tnx!

It sounds like the init string for hscd is missing. The fixed line is the problem it is not asking for hscd.

Any idea what the init string should be? Where can I find out?
