and so, the time has come to let go of my beloved k800i. I'm selling it now, before the price drops further. until then, I'm reduced to using a Nokia 7620 while waiting for the t650i to be released.
I'm sad, and just don't know whether or not this is the right time...
farewell, my old friend

selling a phone just because the price goes down, especially if you like it is (for me at least) stupid.
if you really like it, when you're going to buy another phone you'll put the extra 20 pounds(seriously doubt that you are going to loose that much

, but let's say so) you lost on the k800 because you didn't sell it a half a year ago.(save 20 cents a day till you buy another phone and you'll have more than enough to cover the money "you lost" by selling your k800 at a later date).
hope you understood my point

Don't worry, just think ahead to when you have a beautiful shiny new T650i in your hand - not long to go now.

we dont know, for how much he bought it. i get his point, k800 prices are very cheap atm, since k810 came out, not to mention the other new models, which are on the way already. and next to it, for some of us 20 gbp counts as well...

don't get me wrong, 20 pounds is something (in my country it's quite a lot actually

) but when you like something this much, seeing his post, i suppose he could save 20 cents a day and put it away for safe keeping until it's time for a new phone

, that's what i would do
and when he would get the extra money he stashed away he wouldn't even feel it.

I can't afford a new mobile every year, but i don't usually sell away my old ones. I keep'em all! I hope i will never have to let go of my personal belongings because of economical reasons..
I bought a W810 last month when i could have chosen a k550 or whatever, but i was curious about w810 platform, ever since k750 was released. If i was in your condition, i would still be happily using my k800 and would buy t650 next year or so, but that's just me.
edit. typos and stuff..

while I don't really have an 'economical' reason to sell my phone, I'm doing it cos' I don't see myself keeping the k800i for ages. it just doesn't have that feel to it, like my t610 did. when the time comes, as it probably has, I would replace it with something else in this case the T650i. even though it's early days yet to the release, I just don't want to lose any more money seeing as the phone is depreciating so rapidly these days. maybe this is perfect timing, as the k810i has just hit the market? I certainly hope so...
and not to say I don't like the k800i. I do, a lot. but I still and would always be a T series user. I wouldn't have switched to the K series if I knew they didn't discontinue the T series last time...
