I just saw that Moto announced a new Motorola Razr 2.
It seems people are rejoicing. Weird when you see people are criticising Moto for always serving us the same re-heated soup. But hey, they seem confident it will sell.

If SE was trying to pull the same move, they would be flamed instantaneously, especially on this forum.

Stuck between the firepower of Nokia and the legacy of Motorola with their Razr, What is SE to do?

They're trying to shoot in the middle with
- a fee releases, more than Moto but less than Nokia
- a few high end phones, more than Moto but less than Nokia
- and a few rehashed version of successful phones, less than Moto and arguably, more than Nokia

Anyway for those wanting to see the new Razr 2.

Hi all,

I really can't understand some of the comments as at least Moto are updating there devices with HSDPA, EDGE and various other leading edge tech innovations, unlike some manufacturers we could care to mention.

have to admit i never really liked the original due to lack of decent features.the 6mb till the end of world comes attitude of the phone made me hate it lol i even took a v360 rather than it.but like doggman said at least they upgrading and dont forget it's gonna be a smart phone this time around clever move by moto...looks and brains in this new RAZR.if the price is right i may just decide to get this rather than t650.

It's gonna be running on Linux.
But why would you say it's gonna be a smartphone?
