friends.

as we know

that the
* & # key is to scroll left-right

there is no hard key to scroll up down. except the scroll on the left hand side,

but when surfing net, and going through pages, scrolling seems boring to me.

i would rather prefer the "8" & "0" keys to be used for the up-down scrolling. i.e.

thus everything can be done one handed. using keys & the touch screens.

Scroll, would be of less use then.

I'm right handed and hold the phone in my left hand and so my thumb is naturally hovering around the scroll wheel so I'm happy to use that.

...and isn't that what its for?

during one handed operations I do hold the phone in my right hand and use my right thumb to type and then I use my index finger to scrolll because, again, its in about that place

in summary, I am happier to use the scroll wheel and I canscroll as much or as little as I want. Using a button would be a constant scroll amount each time

That's the big problem or one of them with uiq3. Up and down are in one place and left and right in another and they are quite far apart.

The best thing to do is make opera turn the web page into one column. In terms of scrolling you could use your left hand to hold and scroll upand down and your right to scroll left and right.

Or hope opera makes iphone type scrolling like they have for wm, but their one isn't that good.

found some one who supports me,

the option given my me would be just like a regular PC key.

up down - right - left.

& then enter.

it will be so easy to use many application. selecting them starting them and all that.

. @ massuer: The scroll key is good when u only want to read the whole page slowly.

But somewhere in addition to that the up-down keys would also come useful & i guess its possible to do that.

The main reason I sold my M600 and bought a P990i was that I found difficult to operate the M600 as a phone one-handed. (when driving or carrying a laptop bag with the other hand)
Maybe I missed some of the shortcuts built into the M600, but I find the ability to use the keys in FC mode to operate the phone on the P990i much more user friendly.
