Hi there!
I've tried it a couple of times. It works ok, but I don't find it a very useful feature. I just tried it for fun and never tried it since. It's more like a gadget that you want to show of. Who wants to be seen when you speak in the phone? Not me.....

To be totally honest it's a rip off! I have only used it twice in eight months it just cost's too much in comparison to voice calls!
I only consider using it when speaking to a friend because her 18mth old daughter is highly fascinated by it, but she is about the only person who is!
I never get anybody Video calling me either and all of my friends have 3G.
So from my experience I can't understand why they are still producing them!!

I think the V800/Z800 is still the best Video calling phone around cos of the 1.3MP cam, It can be slow depending on your connection speed, HSDPA will be smoother and clearer. We are charged the same for a vid call as we would a voice call. 3G advantages (well its old now) but faster internet is good, HSDPA is faster!

like most people, I've only used it occasionally . It works very well (on vodafone 3G in Dublin Ireland) Looks great on the 990 screen. Interesting question is , will it ever become as common place as voice calling - even when the tech and cost make this possible? Lots of brain, space and physiological stuff involved I think!

I use it alot but I cant all the time its nice if you at a restaurant or at home but if you driving or on the go, you cant really make a video call.

I would like to use this more often (can't at the moment with voda branding on my P990i and tmo sim).
Has anyone ever tried video calling and transfering the sound to their wireless headset?
The sound quality would be better.

its handy to see people you dont get to see as much as you want, but webcams are also good for that but cheaper. also the other person needs a 3g video call phone too (obviously).
the quality is ok, but still both people need to be in a 'good signal area' otherwise the connection wont go through...
