It shouldn't be but a lot of people don't realise that when they sell the phone. They just presume because its an O2 contract that it is locked.

Well at least if you pay by Pal Pal it is cheap enough to get paid out under their standard cover. You never know it might all be OK in which case that has to be a bargain.

Well Pay Pal will pay compensation minus deductions of $205 so that should cover it, and as it also has WiFi and can be used in offline mode as you say even if it does get blocked there is still quite a bit of functionality left to be used at that price. It will be interesting to see how this works out look forward to seeing what happens and obviously hoping it doesn't get bocked.
