If you guys ever receive a link on MSN about the Virginia Tech shooting which will link you to some jpeg pics, DON'T click on it because it's a very nasty VIRUS!!!
So, better to be safe then sorry!
I think it was a good job, to buy a Mac...

Having a Mac wouldn't have made a difference, if you're still using MSN...

Just depends on your firewall/anti-virus...

yes it does.....

dependent on what kind of virus it won't affect a mac...

only certain worms attack macs. trojans and the like don't bother a shiny mac...

another reason i love my mac... no spyware or anti virus needed

having linux
ubuntu,debian..
viruses are not a problem either here..even though i still use windows xp sometimes,,linux ftw

for windows xp users i suggest you use comodo firewall (its free - and the best)
and for virus scanning use: avast anti-virus protection

Spybot Search and Destroy is good, I used to use it but I can't now as it has compatibility issues with Norton Internet Security 2007.

Is Spybot S&D freeware? I guess it is trialware, which expires after some certain period?
