To be honest, I think the best replacement for it is another JX-10... I'm looking for a headset with/that has/that is...

small, light, comfortable
no earhooks - these are useless when you wear (sun)glasses
easy to use - I don't want 27 buttons that each need to be tapped vs. pressed vs. double-tapped vs. tickled vs. whatever
true handsfree capability - primarily voice dialing, last number redial, and incoming call rejection ( often falls short on this)
some degree of noise cancellation, but I don't want to sound faint and "digital" to the caller, like that Aliph Jawbone headset
rechargeable from a standard USB port

Is the JX-10 as good as it gets? What's better?

There's a JX10 "sequel" of some kind in the works. There's also the Motorola H9 and Plantronics 665. Any comments on either one?

Any other in-ear (hookless) headsets to consider?

Only two more possibilities I could find...

(almost no reviews available)

(the 2 interesting headsets are both "coming soon")

Personally, I'm quite fond of the Samsung WEP200. It doesn't meet all of your requirements but is is very small and has no ear hook.
