Yeppers it is...
ive been reading tut after tut and thread after thread and still i am confuzzled about which files to use to customize my W810i Vodafone PAYG
i have looked at this tut

and even though all the posts say its really easy, im damned if i know.

I thought the only way to do an unbranding was to use WotanServer or DaVinci Team. Is that what you mean by "brute force" removal?
