Are both the s500 and k550 able to be flashed to have walkman v2?

The core media player files cannot be changed as they are part of the firmware. It is the same case with the w800 or the k750 that can't have the Walkman 2.0 player installed so it's not possible

Well, I gues K550 could be flashed to W610 to gain Walkman Player 2.0, same could be done with S500 and W580 firmware, just like Z710/W710
You'll have to wait till S500 hits the market ...

So the k550 can definately be flashed to w610 and the s500 to the w580? I ask b/c I plan on getting either the k550 or s500 along with the hbh-ds980 but i want a better music player.
