> Couple of Questions about K610i
Bookmark topic
hubby has this phone and wants to buy a bigger memory card, as he only has the standard 64mb, what is the highest capacity it will take? He was thinking of buying a 1gb.
Also, when the headset is plugged in, how do I set the phone to automatically go to handsfree mode, so that he can take a call through the headset?
Thanks in advance.

That thread is quite long, so I have just posted my questions in there to see if anyone knows.

I can answer that question here and now - I've just bought bought and fixed a K610i and it works fine with a 1Gb card!

True. My friend's K610i works just fine with genuine 1 GB SanDisk M2. But, the camera viewfinder is so bad if I can say. So gloomy and lack of contrast and brightness. K600 is even better.

Thanks, I agree the camera isn't really very good. It's my husbands phone and he is not too bothered about the camera anyway, as we have a good digital camera.
Does anyone know the answer to the handsfree question?

If you insert the headset then the the call could be received/terminated with the answer button of the headset. This is for the wired head set.
For BT headset, it is similar but you need pairing the phone with the headset, connecting the phone with headset and setting the call diverted to headset.

i insert my 2GB M2 to my fren K610 and it works well.
perhaps K610 also could held up to 4GB too, just the 4GB M2 havn't expanded worldwide. only some countries have it.
