> Best old WindowsMobile WiFi/BT phone?
Bookmark topic
I'm looking for a phone I can use to search for wireless networks and make VoIP calls from.
Because of this I felt I should go for Windows Mobile. But what is the oldest (and therefore cheapest) phone that does bluetooth and WiFi?
I did pick the n70 but that's Symbian so software could be a problem, if not now then later.

My husband has an i-mate SP5m from his work, which is now 1,5 years old, this is the same phone as the Qtek 8300. It has Windows OS 5, Bleutooth and WiFi, among a lot of other options.
These phones came on the market around two years ago, so shouldn't be too expensive now anymore.
Another 2005 model with WiFi from manufacturer HTC is the i-mate SP5, also known as Qtek 8310.

I have an XDA 2S which must be a good 2-3 years old, that has wifi, Bluetooth, touchscreen, but runs Windows Mobile 2003 - though not had a problem with that!
These should be quite cheap now due to it being an old model.

XDA.... I've thought about that but I'm aware of some problems with some models. Would the S2 be the cheapest one that doesn't have such problems?

Agree, the Qtek 8310 is the most sensible and economic choice for you.

The O2 version could be a bit unstable, but I deleted the file that loaded the O2 'front end' up, and it's been very stable since!

In the end I had a BlueAngel for free from my Dad (thanks Dad!)
However, when the battery runs out everything is blanked. Seems to make the thing totally unusuable, so I'm selling it.
