> Video recording issue to memory stick (K800i)

Hi,
I just bought a Sandisk 1GB M2 recently and was using it to capture a video last night. All went well but in the end the video was not saved and when I try to locate my memory stick, it shows no files. I will have to unplug and replug the memory stick in order to show the files.
All my efforts just went down the drain as there's not error message saying that the file couldnt be safe or anything.
Anyone here encouter the same problem before?

Can you play the video back on your phone? Are you trying to view them on a pc via a card reader or usb cable?

At first I thought the phone just crash but the video will be saved into the memory stick. But I was wrong, the memory stick is empty. I think it should have at least ask for other location to be saved whenever there's an error.
I've never had this kind of problem with my Sony M2 64mb. Only happens to my 1gb Sandisk.

umm,i'm afraid if its useful but take this,format your MS through file manager...me also had this problem and what is worse is that i transfered my whole data on phone memory to MS without having it formatted first and the data was lost(and ofcourse there was no error or warning messages).........did you get me???

I understand your dilemma. I was capturing a 25 minutes 4x4 adventure when this issue happened. I was as upset as you.
I didnt see a format function in K800i that allows us to do the formatting. Is it hidden somewhere?
