Hi my freind lent me his K800 and asked me if I could unlock it. I new I could with the awsome help you lot can give. Can any one tell me how I can unlock his phone?

So it does beg the question, how do the street vendors/independant shops do it? Where would someone go to get the equipment THEY use?
Failing that, for one off unlocks yes it is cheaper to do it in town.
While I'm on the subject, can I make it clear that highstreet shops do not do unlocks, only independant mobile retailers and market venders etc.
Orange, O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Three, Virgin, CPW and P4U do not do unlocks in store (unless it's one where they ring up on your behalf and you directly pay the unlock fee to the network CS, but thats a rarity).
