Hello,
Is anybody else having trouble with the m600i call quality? Sometimes works great but sometimes it simply is a "dumb" phone. I have the latest update and I am using it in Romania on Orange. I already disabled the 3G option but it doesn't help.

Thank you.

sometimes i cannot understand what other is saying, but he can hear me clearly. i'm not sure it's m600 fault or others. recalling solves the problems. maybe it's because of signal?

I too feel similar,

I am also not confident when my first call comes, i just cant hear anything properly, then the second comes & voice is clear.

Indian Mobile networks are bad, but when i talk on any Nokia Phones, it works like a charm & network never cuts off.

With SE, many time it shows sign of Emergency Call Only.

I guess with M600i , signal strength is string but not consistent.

So Messaging would be good, talking would be bad at times.

So, is it a phone problem? Any tricks to fix it? Is this happening on other SE smart phones? I am thinking to switch to P1i or a successor of M600 but if the problem is on all SE phones I will think again. It is a pity that such a nice phone cannot accomplish it's basic task : make a call in the best way

Thanks

if you have enough signal strenght, it's ok, the problem is where you have 1 or 2 bars of signal
that's what i think, anyway

Weird...what I have noticed about M600 is the total opposite. I usually get more reception than anyone, even underground.

Overall the call quality with me has been crystal crsip. Perhaps there's an unlucky batch somewhere?

I had a problem when i had K800i. When making calls the other persons voice sounded like a gargle type sound if they spoke with a deep voice and it distorts really bad. I got rid of it for that as i am so fussy about call quailty. I now have a 6233 on Orange and its the best ever cos Nokia are the best and Orange have the best call clarity of any network.

i haven't said the m600 reception is bad, just when it is low, then it's the possibility to have problems when calling

i guess there is problem with the anteenae.

If we want to rectify we need to clean it up once. it is on back side, top-left a round circle in the same line where SE logo is.
