> T68 connection problems possible solution

Anyone else having problems with the T68 losing network connection for long periods?
I was all geared up to send it back as CPW told me they couldnt fix it but when I rang Ericsson the young lady on the phone offered me this which thus far is working:
go into the menu: click connect>datacom>preffered services>gsm only....then restart the phone.
No good if you use GPRS though as to select GSM only you lose gprs

1. You need to upgrade your software.
2. You need to switch to another Service Provider.
And I suggest you do 1.

you don't loose GPRS... if you try to connect via GPRS when having the option "GSM only" it will automatically switch on GPRS.... just that you don't see the GPRS indicator in the bottom left corner of the display
