> k810i prices?

hi,
i was searching around ebay for a k810i, from when it first came into the market till now
surprisingly, the k810i's prices has dropped dramatically,
from over $650 to a mere $500AUD
anyone know why is this? compared to a k800i (which are currently selling at $450) add $50 more and you get a brand new k810i

its the usual way at se. they always overprice their products at the start. one of the reason my friend in his shop sells only used se fones or maybe 1 new is at him, cos on one hand not much interest for se fones and on the other hand what u mentioned. after 2 weeks he makes just losts, if nobody buys the fone asap.

on a side note *d900i's are so cheap... for a 3.2mp camera and a pretty interesting phone, $380 is pretty good.. considering its cheaper than a n73 and a k800i considerably

samsung undercharges while se overcharges their phones

Resellers are pretty good at "overpricing" products as well, espcially if there is a great interest of a product. Nevertheless, there is no reason to have a large price differemce between K800 and K810 considering they are very similar. The small price differece we have now is how it should be IMO.

I've not heard of any pricing control applied by SE, and I'm not sure how they could control unauthorised resellers anyway.
btw, I just bought a K810i and at the end of the day it will have cost me just £140 and I also get 12 months of 200 mins & 250 texts/month included!

Ha ha. Got mine coming tomorrow too. Had a play yesterday in town with a few and they are very nice. Didn't have time to play with the ivory one I had as it was a gift.
