So please if you have clear and easy steps kindly share.

It will be slow and expensive. You need at least 3g to have sane experience of browsing. I never tried that so can't help, sorry.

Install pc suite and you'll see the connection manager also installed just run it and it will show you options.one will be the modem showing as your phone select it and then select connect there after you'll see your phone display showing connecting to the network...then after your pc says connected to internet then launch internet explorer

Last poster explained it all! If you don't want to fall asleep while pages slooooooooowly load, disable images, java, flash etc. Just load the "basics" (best use opera desktop browser and use authors mode! There's another browser, the name of which eludes me right now...it's specifically designed with slow connections in mind - doesn't do graphics' images etc etc... Anyone, what's it called? Sorry, am on wap...

It may be slow but might come on handy in places where internet is miles away. I'm using free gprs connection so cost is not much of a stumbling block for me.
I could leave it to download stuffs all night. I'm sure It would download an appreciable amount of MB.
I'll try today when i return home

you're right, actually! i was being dramatic... I use my e61 all the time as a modem for my laptop (no 3g where I live)...even downloaded some apps etc. So, it'e quite useful (that's why "3" ireland probably disable the modem function on all their handsets, the f**kers!!!)
