I have a few questions to ask before trying to debrand my K810i.

First does wotan know what to do without me downloading the correct files and having to instal them myself, i,e my phone is orange branded, and I want standard factory branding, not orange, so do I just tell wotan I want sim free generic phone and it does the rest complete with UK spec, or do I need to download the correct files and put them on my self, is it similar to SEUS in that it you just plug the phone in and away you go.

Next once debranded, will SEUS recognize it as such, and do updates for that, rather than putting all the orange crap back on in future updates.

Don't want to go at this like a bull in a china shop, and destroy the phone first time, I know allot of you on here have done this many times, so think it is about time I had ago myself. Mainly due to oranges willfull destruction of a good phone with their stupid branding.

Also if I need to download files which ones do I need for the latest software version for the generic K810i

Thanks in advance for all help given.

Just connect phone when prompted. The latest software will be selected for you.All you need to do is make sure finalise is ticked and select which CDA you want.Go for Europe 2 generic 1 and you will be ok.Oh and the phone will still work with SEUS as well mate.

Choose europe 2 worked a treat, no more orange stuff, just need the wap mms and stuff sent from SE web site, and all is good.

Replied to your pm mate but looks like I was too late. Only just got in from work.

Generic Europe 2

Should show the CDA as CDA102568/11

in the main window when you select the CDA file.

You shouldnt need to have the settings sent mate. When you power up the phone it will go into setup wizard and will download the settings automatically for you.
