Anyone know of anywhere I can get a great deal for an LCD TV pref 37 inch (or even 40) Want to spend around £800 but on a finance deal eg Buy Now pay in 9 Months, seen a good deal on Dabs and have used pricerunner.
If nothing comes up may use Dabs.

Empire Direct have a good range at reasonable prices and offer the
finance you're looking for.
if you can spare the cash now (and can find one), Sainsburys have a special on a
Sony 40" for £699 this weekend

i just got a nice 32" sony bravia hd lcd from argos extra on a managers special, because it has either been used or on display. It was £500 reduced from over £800.There is not a mark on and it looks brilliant! I slapped it on my argos store card that is buy now pay nothing for 9 months. They had 50" rear projection sony tvs for about 700. Its worth having a look in an argos extra near you if you can and see if they have any managers specials on.

I wouldn't consider rear projection because you need to replace a lamp every 3-4 years (depending on use) and they can be very expensive (£200+)

There was loads of other stuff as well like camcorders cameras mp3 players all at a cut price! worth looking!

But im not sure if all store will do it!

I've looked at around 100 LCD tvs in the last few weeks including standing in front of a few for up to 15 minutes at a time, and I personally think in general that you can't go wrong with Samsung, Sharp or Panasonic.
I will comment that this is an R87 series but Samsung now have the R88 series (model LE37R88BD) though I cannot tell you what the difference is exactly
here is an avforums thread for this
btw, you can also get 3%
quidco (worth about £21 on this tv) for dabs online purchases
