In case you don't have a fatreg to hand to help you identify a track, you could use Shazam. Dial 2580 on your mobile, hold it up to the speaker playing the song and they'll then text you back with the track name and artist [It costs 50p]. I use it on occasion when I just can't work out the name/artist of a particular song.

[Note: I have no idea whether it works outside UK, or how much it then costs]
