how does it work? my nephew has got one, i tried everything, but it wont glow... any idea?

you normally have to snap a bit in it.
either that or put it in a freezer for a few hours and it should work.
failing that, ask miss UK, she's a raver! she must know all about glow sticks!

fridge won't help if the reaction hasn't started. The fridge slows down the reaction so the stick glows for longer
unfortunately you've probably got a faulty one
