Im as so gutted, i have over 200 contacts and 700 txt messages, the screen is unusable and i cant see at all.

Its still under carphone warehouse guarantee / warrantee. Will they fix it? or will it be at my expense? and as its just the phone , can they get my very important information back just how it was?

Im so upset i need this as you can all imagine.

You should be able to still connect the phone to your PC to back your data up, then you can restore it if you get a replacement phone or the data gets wiped whilst in for repair.

Or, if you're feeling brave you could try repairing the LCD yourself with a replacement LCD, though you need to know what you're doing if you're going to try that!

Does the backup do text messages? im sure i tried once before and it didnt do text's its hard to know what im doing also as the screen is totally white and cracked

@wayne - I doubt it if it will still be covered by warranty mate . . . as you have said, you dropped your fone . . .

Better start canvassing for spare-parts for replacement if I were you . . . LCD et al.

Yeah will do, maybe Car Phone Warehouse can repair it for me ? even if its not free...

i done a back up but cant get into it ! only option i have now is to restore it !

i need to somehow view the back up?

any ideas?

@wayne - Not sure about that mate . . . never done that in the past . . . Does Car Phone Warehouse carry authorized/original spare parts and make legit repairs Better canvass the price in the authorized Service Center too dude . . . !

Will do I cant live without this phone. The truth is i threw it on the floor in rage it bounced on my bed and hit the floor my fault , wil be my time and money and my loss if the data cant be saved, im so stressed and upset , its my life in a small broken device .
