You charge it until it tells you it is full, There is absolutely no point charging it any longer, as it does nothing but waste power and heat up your charger.
Modern batteries use smart charging circuits and once they are full, thats it.

@BobaFett - I agree, but some mobile shops still advise their costumers to charge their new batteries for 16 hours. I had been advised to do that to, but luckily I knew I didn't have to.
