HI, I am new to this Forum, I am currently trying to buy a new phone. The reason of this post is to see if people can help me decide what phone should i get. I am undecided between the W810i or the W850. I seen a couple of topics with somewhat the same discussion but nothing clear.

Any help is appreciated.

@el - I'll go with the W850 here, however, there has been an issue with this model - cracked keypad The W810i is nice too, though does not have a video-call feature . . . if that does not bother you much, then go with the W810i pal. Good Luck !

Thank you both for the quick reply...

I saw the topic of W850 Vs. W810... by the topic each phone has a major advantage as a disadvantage when compare with each other. that is why I am confuse and I ain't sure which one to get.

Also the video- call is not important to me, and i also live in USA which i believe that option is not available here.

thank you both once again.

Well then the W810i is definitely the choice for you since the W850i won't even get full coverage in the USA, since it doesn't have the 850 band. Also, it's smaller and has an auto-focus camera...

O.K. So you recommend the W810. Thank you very much for helping me getting things a little clear. Also is there any other phone out there other than these 2 that have similar features and you might recommend.

Thank you all.

Well, there's the K750 which I'm using now and would strongly recommend if you're looking for something that's about the same as the W810. It's a slightly older model but they're probably much cheaper now if you can still find them new. Mine hasn't given me any problems till now and I can hardly find a phone that I would choose over it at the moment.

@el - I agree with deluded . . . K750 is sooooo cheap now,and is really worth every cent that you PAY for it mate . . . if its still have some brand new stocks at your end, better get one mate ! I would suggest the K800 too (not the K810i) . . . Good Luck !

Generally, I agree about K750i, its value for money can't be beaten by any other phone atm ! But eLpRiMo lives in the USA, frequencies are different there, so he'll have better reception with the quad-band W810, as the K750 is only tri-band.
Another option would be K790, same phone as K800, but without 3G, which he can't use anyway.
Both W810 and K790 have EDGE.

@marly - Thanks for the correction again (as always) . . . I would suggest: elprimo to transfer location then, where there is only - TRIBAND - capable-countries . . !
