Hello,

As a newbie you will have to excuse my stupidness if this questions sounds stupid...

I bought an off-line k810i which was unlocked but is set to be used with an o2 sim. I am with Orange (UK provider) and want to be able to access 'Orange Home' and don't want the o2 greeting animation every time i turn it on and off. Is there a way i can put the Orange software on the phone? Is it called a firmware flash or is it new software....i'm not sure, can some professional phone dude let me know my options?

Thanks in advance!

Imran

However, not sure if it has uploaded Orange firmwares you want. Please check by yourself.

When I debranded my T-Mob K810i last week, there were some network firmwares on there. Can't remember if Orange was on it though.

Why would you want to put Orange branded software on the phone? Its horrible and also you can loose value in it when you come to sell the phone with it on.

Just debrand the phone using the Genric UK or EU2 version on wotan server.

You will then have a phone that has no branding at all and you can do what you like with it.

I have a K810i that came on orange, and I can tell you, you DO NOT want the orange firmware on it. I de-branded mine to EU2 and is the best thing I did. With orange firmware you will loose allot of features that you have now, once you have de-branded it, just use the browser key on the far left of the keypad, and that will connect straight to orange.

hey, ive been reading your posts, and i have a K800i on orange, and i would like the icons different when it comes to the menu, as at the moment they are flat and boring but i would like the 3D ones. I was told the only way to do this is to debrand it. I read earlier from you what to use to debrand, but do you have any idea where i could download it from.

Thanks
