Hi all,

For the first time in ages i have only one device and it's really not convenient to keep swapping Sim Cards so i need another phone hence the reason for this question.

I really don't need another smart phone but i do need a reasonably good camera as currently i only have a Sony 5mega Pixel which is to large to always carry around. I don't need to take a huge amount of photo's or blow them up to poster size either. Obviously i can see the K810 will be much better at taking pictures but it is still quite large and bulky it's actually bigger than my camera. Just how good are the W880's pictures or is it really not worth taking pictures with as it is a Walkman phone.

The W880's main advantage is of course it's size and styling and will have to see if higher encoded Music than Disc2Phone produces improves the sound quality enough as last time i was not that impressed with the sound.

Any thoughts or comments welcomed as although i am not desperate do need a new mobile fix real soon and just seem incapable of reaching a decision at this time every time i decide on one i change my mind again.

Marc

take k810 . k810 have really good sound to (just use a par of HPM-70), and of cource MUCH better camera. the only thing k810i dosent have its the Mega bass. (but if you put the equlizer in "valley shape", you nearlly get that bass). k810 is really slim to (if you compare to k800), the weight is good also.

If not in a hurry, perhaps the forthcomming T650 can be worth considering. Its something between K810 and W880 both regarding size and camera quality.

Hi

Yeah i have actually considered the T650 but when is it expected and also i have a feeling that is going to be a premium device and not really what i need as a second phone.

I am not planning on using the K810 for Music and not even sure if the W880 would get that task either or though i will give it a try using AAC.

To be honest i think i have now talked myself back into the W880 as their is just something about it's size and in the Silver Version the stainless steel that really appeals to me. It may be the first device i actually treat to a Vaja Case oh well i think Ive decide now then lets see if it changes by the morning and getting it time.

I do have the W880 now (the silver version is very stylish). The camera is 2MP and has no autofucos. But if there is enough light then it takes fairly decent pictures which I occasionally print on 10x8cm. Noone ever noticed they were from a 2MP camera phone.
The built-quality is fantastic, it feels very sturdy. They keys are fairly small but after one day I got used to them and can type as fast as with my K610 I had before.
The walkman features are great. AAC (without DRM only of course) it plays without any conversion, as well as WMA and MP3. Maybe other formats I don't know or have. The sound is very good - better than the iPod Nano I had.
The TrackID feature (detecting title and artists of songs on the fly) is just fantastic. I've never expected to use it that much...

considering you already have a E61, which is large in its own sense, i suggest get a W880, its small, very light and decent looking. Pics are not anything to write home about, but they get the job done under decent light.
Oh and one point against W880 right now is that its severely over priced, and i mean it REALLY is over priced! Its basically inferior to W810 but 2x the price.
Also, I'd consider the 7390 if it isn't too girly for you.
