I had my phone stolen a few days ago and it contains some very compromising photos and text messages on it.

I have cancelled the service, but know that the person can still access the personal information.

Does anyone have advice on how to protect or even erase the information on my mobile phone.

Any tips, advice or ways would be greatly appreciated.

There's no way as far as i know, i'm afraid.

In my country, an actress had trouble when her photos were stolen from her handset which was sent for repairs to the shop.

This is something those smart R&D guys should take care of. You know, people started to carry more data about themselves and their contacts and friends, and these data are highly vulnerable and open to access by third persons.

i am sorry to hear that.however unless you had some sort of phone lock or a lock on your images and texts then all that information will be available to the person who stole your phone.no way to delete this information remotely am afraid

what phone was stolen? some phones can start without sim card, others cant. if your phone can't start without a sim, and the phone was locked, he can't access personal information
