I'm very disapointed with my SE M600i. I don't need many reasons to explain to you why this phone sux. First of all it is slow and sluggish, not enough internal memory (36mb free and opening a large website (+/- 10mb) and error out of memmory) spontanous and not so spontanous restarts (sometimes multiple a day), horrible sound quality. Phone speaker not loud enough. And now my touch screen is out of callibration and even a master reset didn't solve this! grr!!!

if you dislike the phone so much

Have you got the lastest firmware? Is your phone unbranded?

surely youd have noticed if the thing was not working properly in the first week or so, if not day, not 6 MONTHS after buying it...

It`s really cool when people don`t read advices and tips from other users, so they can use any product smoothly. And then they get a picture ideea ("this sucks so much") without trying to solve their problems in any ways.
In general, this conception is so bad...makes me kinda sick

same, especially if they dont make any sort of effort to try and fix it and just expect everything around them to work perfectly to their specification the second they turn it on. It is never going to happen, and i very much doubt it ever will.

i can understand him that the phone sucks. i have the p990i since 2 weeks and barely use it. will bring it back as it's not worth mentioning...slow, sluggish and nothing really good. i can imagine the m600i being the same.
i know this is a SE forum, but if you can accept only positive comments...
i own a K750i which is not a smartphone, but is definitely one of the best phones i have ever used! but the symbian phones from SE are just crap for what they are promised to do

same here, I bought the P990 a while ago, i prolly only used it for a total of 5 hours for the entire 3 months that ive had it, W810 is so much more usable i reckon, and now i cant even sell it coz the price is so low

Hmm... I have a W950i and since day one it's been the best phone I've ever owned/used. I absolutely love it! The phone works great (very good reception and call quality), the Walkman player is totally awesome (blows away my iPods for sure), and it's a great GPS navigator when you have Garmin Mobile XT or TomTom installed on it. I even watch DVD quality movies on it all the time and the display is super.
While I'll agree that its UIQ interface is not the fastest UI I've ever used, I've never had any real problems with it (especially when using SMP) and it never crashes on me (i.e. it's super stable). At this point, I wouldn't trade it for any other phone.
Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with your M600.
