I had taken SE K800i on Vodafone UK in Aug 2006. I've just got it unlocked from the local shop in India. I think the person had used some online service to unlock the phone. Everything was going fine. But, after the 3 days of use, when ever I make or receive the call the Earphone is not working. However, the Loudspeaker and bluetooth headset are working fine.
Also in the Service Test, the earphone does not make any sound.
I tried with SEUS, but it says my software is already upto date.
The Current Software version of my K800i is as following:
CXC1250211
R1CE001
060619.
I've also noticed that after the unlock the Selection Button options(Calls Menu) on the Screen dont appear. Only for the left selection button shows "Ticker". Pressing it doesn't do anything.
Can any body suggest me what is the problem, is the earphone damaged or some other software problem? Also suggest me how to overcome the problem?
Also tell me how can I use the SEUS to update the software and will updating the software with SEUS, again sim lock my phone?
