Sony Ericsson's recent patent shows the blueprints for what looks like a PSP phone or certainly an advanced Gaming Phone.

And who’s better positioned to create a perfect mobile gaming platform then Sony? It already has one the Sony PSP and of course it also makes the best mobile phones in the world via joint venture with Ericsson.Their recent patent filing shows how Sony Ericsson will go about integrating these two gadgets.The beauty of it all is that Sony will not have to worry about the games for the PSP phone. Just make it compatible with the standard PSP games and Nokia will have a really tough time catching up with it’s next gen N-Gage platform.

That a 2005 application!? And why that twisty screen - prone to get damged; why not an n95-type double slider with dedicated gaming-buttons?

Of course they will do it...read also what Eldar said in the z8 review at m-r - SE is preparing its own gaming platform similar to ngage platform by Nokia...in the SE case, of course it will be linked to the Playstation network/brand, its obvious...
