> Changing 'phone status' details

After i got my w880i orange gave me a temporary number whilst they transfered my number over from vodafon,
this temporary number has now been saved as'my mobile' in the phone status.
is there anyway to change this??

im not sure if this can be done because the number shown there is according to the sim card on your phone.

Yes you can
Go to phonebook -> options -> special numbers -> my numbers -> my mobile and change accordingly.

nah tis doesnt work,
it jus says what the number is but theres no option to edit it unfortuantly
