> P990i Terrible Signal
Bookmark topic
Hi Guys,
I just bought myself an Orange branded P990i yesterday. Over the weekend I've had it unlocked and de-branded for use with my o2 sim.
However, I've noticed that the GSM signal is nearly always on 1 bar. This is in an area where my K800i also on o2 gets a full 5 bars.
Any ideas?

Hi there, I had the same prob with my w800. Did you put a diffrent sim in there then put your original one in? When my mate helped me change my w800 housing, he put his sim in to test it and it worked. However when I put mine in, I had no signal. It stayed like that for about a week untill in the street, I took my phone out my pocket to see if some how the signal came back, but before I could see I dropped my phone and when I picked it back up, as if by magic the signal came back! Maybe thats what your phone needs a little knock! You never know lol?!

Don't drop the phone as King did. Try by removing the SIM and reinserting it. Sometimes contact may be not that good....
