> Any SE phones that accept regular headphones?

Hi, I've had a look at a few of the Walkman phones and am stunned to see none of them will let me plug in my Shure e3c's without the need for an adapter!
Am I missing something here? Are there any phones in the entire SE range that allow for this?

In the walkman series, you will need the adapter to attach your favorite earphones to a walkman phone.
However, I do remember the P800 and P900/P910 having a 2.5 mm stereo jack...
This is too funny...SE is really strange.

They could ditch the long cord leading up to the 3.5mm jack on the headset and attach that section straight to the end of the FastPort connector. That way you wouldn't have 2 metres of cable hanging around when you're using your own headphones. This wouldn't really affect
sales either as people would still have to buy the new connectors.
Thats my idea anyway...

frankly i'd rather have the adapter with the microphone on it. do you really want to have to get the phone out of your pocket, unplug the headphones, take the call, end the call, plug the headphones back in, AND put the thing back into your pocket when you get a call. surely it would be much easier just to press a button, talk, then press the button again?
also, with the newer se headsets, you get remote control functions. of course, all the walkmans after the w810i have support for A2DP bluetooth headphones...
