Did it last night and just a min ago this eve, just happened to notice phone light up, Inactive Sim was displayed for a few sec`s then it white screened and crashed
SW is R1JG001, anyone got a fix for this or is having the same problem?

I got that white screen problem when I connected my K800i to the PC once. Try updating it using the Sony Ericsson Update Service, and if it says you have the latest firmware a button saying 'continue anyway' should appear, click that. It fixed my K800i when it did that!
Same for you Paul C, try the above and see if it fixes your problem, could be your firmware's gotten a bit corrupted.

thanks for the tip! but i have no response from the phone. white screen appears whenever i turn on the phone. this is the third time i am having this problem. and i strongly feels that it is no longer the firmware being corrupted as it was updated during the second visit to the service centre, which was just 2 weeks ago. went there again yesterday and requested to change to a new board. will get back the phone in 2 days time.
just wondering... does anyone here has this similar problem as i have?
