> P1i on Orange - End of June-Mid July?
Bookmark topic
A quick transcript of the conversation I had with my friendly local orange shop earlier:
Me: "I was wondering if you knew if youd have the P1i anytime soon?"
Them: "Yeah, we should be getting it very soon. We haven't got any at the moment though."
Me: "Yeah I was expecting that. Do you know when you might be getting them in?"
Them: "Should be some time at the end of this month/early next month"
So apparently orange will have the P1i very soon. Incidentally, I also popped in to the O2 and T-Mobile shops and nobody in either of them had any idea what the SE P1i was, let alone if they'd have it soon.
At least theres hope for those of us who don't want to be on O2

The staff in the shops in most cases doesn`t know s**t about the phones. All they know is the "right tariff" the want you to take....and how to get you to buy even more crap you never wanted in the first place...
Most of the technical details about phones seems to be skipping their brains.

lol I agree with you in that most people in stores and customer services dont know anything remotely technical about phones or keep up to date with new technology!
Vodafone has had no info on when we'll be doing it yet but I have to say that sales person in Orange is most likely just guessing without actually having and evidence to support it - I could be wrong though!

I will admit that I know most of the people in that store by first names, but the guy I spoke to was a new guy.
Maybe he'd just come out of training and for once actually knew something. Or maybe he was just trying to keep me happy and make his first sales, I dunno

. He seemed to know his stuff though.
