Hello guys I think you should pop into a vodafone store tomorrow,
You'll see the new data charges and see how good the overall package is compared to the rest.
Great big brand involved and great overall service!
There better that t-mobile, better than o2 better than orange and better than 3!
If anyone on vodafone wants it free for the first month give me a shout and I'll add it on.

£2 per MB I think, not entirely sure.
Any way, could you add it on free for me please, superluminova. If you can as I'm PAYT.

@superluminova
I will be very interesting to see if this is any different from the new tariffs that were just announced but if not you have got to be joking. Just yesterday i was speaking to VodaFone to downgrade a tariff i have with them and asked about Data tariffs and was quoted there new deals which to put it mildly are are still a joke. Unless they have suddenly seen reason and changed them yet again, i really fail to understand how you can make this claim they where still talking something like 150mb for £8 compared to T-Mobile £10 for 1GB so it is not even close to being competitive. I suppose tomorrow will reveal all but these are some mighty big claims you are making.

if it's better than t-mobile I imagine it must be cheap.
I'm on the 7.50 a month for unlimited (of course limited to 1gb I think).
So voda should either be 7.50-10 for unlimited (truely unlimited)
or less than 7.50 for the same deal.

Hi all
Well i have just spoken to VodaFone and this is what they are currently offering is on Pay as you go Data on a pay monthly contract £1 per day Max for browsing up to 15mb per day any Data used over this is @£2 per MB. Or for £7.50 pm 120MB across the month, if you use all your 120MB in a month, you'll default to the standard £1 per day charge for the rest of the month. If you are a Pay as you go customer it is only £2 per MB.
So unless Superluminova knows something that the VodaFone operators and the Web site don't it appears he is in urgent need of being deprogrammed as i said these Tariffs were announced a short while ago to be launched in June and are not even close to matching T-mobile, 3 or even Orange's newly announced charges never mind being better than them.
As with T-Mobile for the same £7.50 pm you get up to 1GB as opposed to Voda's 120mb how that can be better on Voda is beyond me. On the Pay as you go Tariff you get up 1GB per month and with Voda just 450-465mb pm so although Voda do have plans for new Data Tariffs and i will be alerted by text when they are near being launched same as a Year ago.
Currently there charges are NOT competitive never mind being better. Unless of course the Voda operators don't know what they are talking about but the operator i spoke did go off and check with his supervisor.
Sorry forgot to add the only new thing with this Mobile Internet launch is the ability to have some nice shortcuts sent to your phone but otherwise i stand by my conclusion that this is way to expensive to even be considered viable there are much cheaper and better options available.

Hi all,
I have now seen this on various web sites and even Voda's own site so it appears it is the deals we all knew about and unfortunately the very quiet Superluminova has just believed all he was being told shame he wasn't right.
Any Voda customer can get this for free for the first month no big deal there either it appears.
