Right I have seen this a number of times now on here:

The best offer made at the close of Today Monday 4 June will get this Baby.

So if you say the best offer by XXXX gets it then you should do exactly what you have said - not leave it run for as long as it takes to reach a figure you are happy with!!! If you have a set price that you will not sell below then don't try and sell in an auction style format - or set a start price for bids!!! It is just a complete joke - i mean you can't get to the end of your ebay listing and say "well actually I want a bit more so I am going to extend this listing by 24 hours" - you have to honour your original advert and sell at the price it has reached by the closing time of the auction.

And I wasn't even bidding/interested in the TV (or the other items i have seen this happen on) but I just think it is totaly unfair on those that were bidding and had made the best offer within the original time period only to find they have losto ut because someone offered a tenner more the next day! I think esato should take a stance on this one!

*Rant over*

im totally with you on this Tom... If a date or buy it now price is given, it should be honoured..... if anyone doesnt want this then its simple, dont put a end date or buy-it-now price
