I was wondering if there is anyway on a SE or via you network that you can block nuisance numbers that txt and ring you.

Just ive got two numbers which are really annoying me now, ive a good mine to post them here for you all to give them stuff back!

If the option of blocking them was available id love to hear it

BTW: its txts and phone calls i get ...

for a fee, you can usually change your number while staying on the same contract. I've done it myself with a couple of operators. you don't even need a new sim card

i also asked the local operator how to block a number and he told me first i need police's permission. stupid law

the SE phones only provide a white list, i.e. numbers that you will accept, but unfortnuately you cannot define a black list

there has been some software for SE symbian phones (and windows mobile etc) that lets you define a black list but its not free software unfortunately

well ive contacted O2 UK to see what they have to say about it

there is a patch for the w800i that allows you to blacklist numbers
