Due to redundant SE complaints threads in this forum, moderators start to lock them down. i was reading the recent one, http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=148855&start=15

Why not include in this forum a POLL, in the same manner that the lay-out design of this webpage is being polled out.

A poll as to the loyalty or how satisfied SE fans at this time with their products. Coz i believe, leaving SE behind is leaving ESATO as well.

Just a humble opinion from an unsatisfied SE fan.

@rehamer

Personally i think it is a shame that threads need to be locked and that people can't act in a civilised manner and accept comments that they may not like and debate genuinely but some seem to take any criticism of SE as a personal insult and when they have no answer for the facts resort to insults which is IMO unnecessary and uncalled for.

As for if you no longer own a SE device no longer using ESATO i think that would be a great shame and would deprive the ESATO community of some great knowledge and input from an ever growing number of members who have had to go elsewhere for their devices.

i don't think SE is producing bad phones.
however it's quality isn't as good as it used to be.
still SE phones don't come back too often when i compair to samsung/nokia mobile phones. round 10% of those companies comes back within the 1st year. SE is around 5%

...tell me - how many "smart-phones" come back because people aren't smart enough to use their fashionable gadget ? really curious!

Totally agree with Dogmann. If all non-SE users left esato, 3/4th of the decent posters would be gone, and all that would be left is people who think optical zoom improves video quality.
Threads get locked because there're way too many of them, so anyone creating them should really look around before making them.

@himlims_nl

You really a perfect example of just how paranoid some SE fanatics are no one had sad anything about how good or bad any device is or isn't. But you have to chirp in with how much worse everyone else is than SE and not just that but twice as bad you really are a deluded fool as i suppose you have very conveniently managed to forget all the SE phones with bad EROM's and the WSOD not to mention the beloved UIQ3 if you really can't say anything sensible for the sake of some our sanity just say nothing rather than constantly spouting SE are fantastic garbage. I am all for freedom of speech but some really do need gaging orders if they are incapable of talking even the slightest bit of sense or engaging in intelligent discussion.

Besides anything else of course you will see more returns from those manufacturers as they sell many more devices then your beloved puny SE so what do you expect but please try and stick on topic and yes i know you are not paranoid every one is out to get you and SE.

@himlims-nl
dogmann has a point... Also you never answered my question! You come up with that statistic, you give some more data; otherwise there's no point!
What, e.g., is the ratio of sold SE phones vs nokia etc... If more pokias are sold, more are returned... And my smart-phone question was serious: 6680 sold really well here in Ireland because it was affordable, shiny, had a big screen, but people just couldn't handle it! (I don't mean the slowness...); they just don't want a phone where you actually have to open the manual! So a lot got returned! But not because of the real issues, just because it was too much! So, your returns-proof is just so much air, unless you really really back it up!
...but maybe this will get locked before you manage to do so!

Marc & QVGA are right. If we the consumers are not pleased, then what good SE product?
