@zerofire69
This has been discussed here before but may be hard to find and some of us have different methods.
Here is what i do and you may find some of these things useful, I don't accept bids from New Ebayers and have Pay Pal as my preferred method of payment but only from people with a confirmed address and verified account. Some here advise just having a Buy it Now price but again i would still insist on the above criteria, hope that helps and i am sure others will also have some suggestions. Plus of course once you been a member here a bit longer there is a for sale section.

i think miss uk's n91 oddysee was quite enlightening, esp. the ensuing debate here in which those who sell a lot on ebay accused the ignorant buyers, and those who buy criticised the frequent sellers

guess it's what happens if you provide such a perfect place for planned selling and impulsive buying ??? And add the virtuality in which you can't just walk into the shop and shout at the manager and his stooges... Chaos and market anarchy.

I am having fun trying to sell my W880i on ebay. Twice its sold. The first time the buyer paid instantly then a few hours later put a claim in with paypal saying the funds were fraudulently sent so it was refunded back to the buyer and I havent heard a thing from them since. Luckily I hadnt sent the phone. The annoying thing is that it is 7 days before I can start a claim against them and then another 8 days before I can close the laim and get my fees back.
The second buyer again paid instantly and wanted the phone sent instantly to an unconfirmed address. i could find no record of the named person at that address and the phone number listed was 200 miles away from the registered address. I have refunded his money and asked him to resend the money with a confirmed address this time. I know that I wont get it though and that now have to wait another 2 weeks to get the ebay fees back fo that transaction.

Just state :
' Members with less than X feedback will have their bids cancelled'
and that you will only send to a verified Paypal address.

@comfort mdu and all,
There is actually nothing wrong with E-BAY it is just some of the people that use it, i have 157 positive feed backs and in all the time i have used it i have only had 2 problems in over 5 years and both times got paid out by Pay Pal protection so lost very little money. As long as you follow some basic common sense rules it is wholly possibly to both buy and sell with very little problem. The only problem i have now a days with it is the fees seem to of got a lot more expensive nad yes there are a lot of scams trying their luck but as long as you don't get tempted by offers and stick to certain criteria it should not post a problem IMO.
First rule is whilst you may get a bargain anything that is to good to be true most probably is.
