Sold my phone on ebay earlier. Buyer paid quickly but supplied an unconfirmed address.
I have just checked out the guys name via 192.com and it cant be found where he says he lives (leeds). I have got his contact details from ebay and found that his registered home address is in leed but his phone number is from herts (a couple of hundred miles).
I am seriously thinking of refunding the money as I am not protected. What do you guys think?

I'd say refund it, unconfirmed address usually lead to problems, if not now, then a few weeks down the line!

Everytime I got one of those I sent them their money back minus my Ebay/Paypal costs.
I always state in my listings that payment is only accepted from comfirmed accounts as well but there is an occasion where some don't bother reading the listing properly.

Seems like I was right to not send the phone. He has just got a negative feedback for buying a W880i and then claiming the money back.

I never send to an unconfirmed paypal address but you can pretty much make sure because the address on the Ebay you have sold email and the Paypal you have been paid email should match.
If they dont there is something normally dodgy .. but then some people just buy as a gift and want it sent to the persons house.
After all that though .. NEVER send to a unconfirmed address .. that rule has cost me a couple of negative feedback but has also saved me hundreds of pounds (I look back at their feedback a months later and sometimes there is bad feedback from someone who did send).
