> Time for a new digital camera

My sony DSC-T7 is completely buggered. Some of the buttons have stopped working and it is not in the best of condition so time to get a new one. I have had my eye on both the sony DSC-G1 & DSC-W200 but i am not sure which one to go with.
Before people ask it has to be a sony i like there camera and not going to get anything different. They are both good cameras but the W200 has more mp than the G1 but the G1 has some really cool features.
I am a total novice where photography is concered and what to start learning and have a decent camera to boot. If anybody has any of these cameras and woud be kind enough to share some wisdom and pictures i'd be grateful.
My DSC-T7 is ultra slim and i want to have a really slim camera again but both of these seem fairly chunky to my T7 which is an older model. Just wondered which people would recommend.

That is not the case with these cameras the G1 is 6 megapixels and is around £315 on ebay and the W200 is 12 megapixels and around £250.
The G1 is wireless, touchscreen and has more features yet the W200 has better megapixels and no touchscreen. Least i don't think it has.
Is there really going to be a huge amount of difference in the quality of the photographs.
I'm leaning towards the G1 features but don't want to be dissappointed with quality.

Thanks for the input but that is just like the one i have already really. I want to get something that will last and that has better features i can grow into with more experience. I like the W200 megapixels and zoom but the aesthetics and features of the G1. Which would you choose? I'm so torn if the G1 had more megapixels i wouldn't be having this problem, GRR!
