Hi,
Orange have FINALLY let me update my P990i firmware, it now has:

Phone:
CXC162037 R9EC001
Bluetooth:
CXC162058 R5A01
Organizer:
CXC162036 R4B03
CDA:
CDA162008/16 R6A03

What I want to know is if their is much improvement with the CXC162036 R5A17 firmware over the one I have now?

ALSO
Does anyone know of a good UIQ3 game that is turn based fighting like command and conquerer? I had one on my P800I and even my K750I but have yet to find one for my P990I

Thanks

1 - with r5a17 you can switch off menu animations, java loads faster, get a new version of opera, etc

2 - try warring nations, its a great turn based strategy game

Its not a full new version, but a new "build"...i dont remember the number (i am on mini right now), but its refered on the p990 wiki. You notice the changes because opera on r5a17 is much more stable than in r4b03

ok, I use Opera Mini most of the time as I can use that flip closed, and to be honest I hardly ever use the in built browser as I find Mini so much better and faster to work with

I have another question, does the P990's LCD screen have LED backlighting? If not how does the lighting work? Anyone know?

Just asking as it seems to be the latest thing with LCD telly's and laptops but phones must be to small for anything other then LED lights?
